Introducing CENTURIAN

Centurian is the bone-cracking continuation on the fast thrash band Inquisitor that was decomposed last year. After a year of line-up problems and mutual differences of opinion, the members of Inquisitor decided to split up. The last years Inquisitor released two demo tapes and a C.D. called "Walpurgis- Sabbath of Lust".

Two ex-Inquisitor members, Wim & Rob decided to continue in the most terrible way when Erik (Guitar-player of Inquisitor) left the band to join Ancient Rites (Belgium). In January '97 they formed the band Centurian. In april of that same year Centurian found a vocalist by the name of Seth.

Centurian plays very hard, aggressive and very fast Death/Black Metal. Bands like Morbid Angel, Immortal and Deicide had a big influence on the musicstyle Centurian decided to play, but what's most important is their complete own sound and style. Centurian is a real "live" band, and that is where the band is as it's best; on stage.

After ten months of rehearsing Centurian decided to record eight songs (in the Q.S.A. studio, Utrecht Holland). This took place in October '97. Two songs are covers, one of them is an old Inquisitor song. All the songs are gathered on a promo C.D. and on their first demo, called "Of Purest Fire". Both have a very good & loud sound.

Centurian recorded their blasphemous new album entitled 'Choron zonic Chaos Gods' around April/May of 1999. This CD has nine tracks of pure fast, intense death metal as on the 'Of Purest Fire' mcd with a big difference: This time the songs are more complex and totally furious from beginning to end! This CD is out now!
