Through Death and Rites the first among all beings knew the Mystery and a new life: the Gnosis and this life were the privileges of beings who were considered divine. The first of all beings has initiated both men and gods into the Sacred Rituals. It is from this perspective that Serpentinam was manifested. It is the reflection of the shadow-self, manifested in the likeness of the threne. We consider the elements of Funeral Rites an intangible essence that wisps it's presence through Serpentinam. The visages are that of Mort and the Adversary, masked in the mythic and the occult. Its origins are rooted in the antinomian spirit of its creators and its being realized through the conduits of the will. This is the vision of the Hooded One, in which we partake. This is the path of the Serpent.
